Coraggio, our school’s Year 12 drama class performance that was so successful in 2008, has been selected for the final of Fast & Fresh, an under-18s drama festival at the Parramatta Riverside Theatre.

Now it’s time for everyone to get down to the Final and support our drama students. The details are:

At the end of the night there are awards given for Best Production, Best Actor and Actress and Best Director as well as a People’s Choice Award – so we need everyone’s support on the night.

Our school was selected in the top seven videos in the So You Think You Can Dance Optus Dance Crew Fund! Whilst we didn’t win, this is a fantastic achievement for our school in this national competition. Congratulations to everyone involved!

IV II VI (4-2-6) – Our School Senior Rock Band – has reached the top forty bands in Youthrock 2009. What a fantastic achievement. They will be performing in Heat 1 of Youthrock at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre at 7:00pm on Tuesday 31st March. It would be great to see as many people as possible down there to support them.

But you can help them right now! The band needs votes in the wildcard competition. Voting is totally free and only takes a few minutes.

Parents, students and teachers braced the early morning cold to attend the school’s annual Love Learning and Success Breakfast. The breakfast is one way that parents and staff show their support for Year 12 students during their important HSC year.

Brian Long and John Gibbons, senior partners from Ernst and Young, inspired students with their personal stories and advice.

Year 11 Hospitaliy students prepared the scrumptious spread that was enjoyed by all.
